5 Robots Workshop for School Students

What is this workshop about?

Amazed by the school kid's intuitiveness with mechanical systems? And you wish to offer training programs for the school kids? Yes, now you can help kids to build cool robots from basic to advanced level with this workshop at the school itself.

Your kid will design and develop the following projects

• Basic
• Line Follower Robot - that follows a line using infrared sensors
• Medium
• Mobile Controlled Robot - that is controlled by mobile phones using DTMF technology
• Gesture Controlled Robot - that is controlled by hand gestures using accelerometer sensor
• Advanced
• Edge Detection Robot - that detect edges using IR sensors & prevent from falling off
• Fire Fighting Robot - that detects fire & move in that direction to put it off

Course Outcomes

• Introduction to Robotics systems & Microcontroller
• Introduction to Arduino Architecture
• Understanding the Electronics involved in the robot
• Digital IR sensors working & calibration
• DTMF module working & calibration
• ADXL 335 accelerometer sensor working & calibration
• Programming the robot
• Hands-on experience on block based programming on Arduino

Course Structure

• Lecture Session - 3 hours
• Fabrication Session - 6 hours
• Programming Session - 4 hours
• Testing Session - 1 hour

• Fabrication of 5 different Robots
• Scratch based block programming

Participants have access to an exclusive online portal to:

• View status of registered and attended workshops

• Write online exams and receive separate certificates with scores. These certificates with scores will provide students an opportunity to show their learning in job interviews.
• Analyze their online scores in comparison with other students

Hardware Kits

Students registering in team of 5 people will get a free kit (one per team). (*) These Tools are part of the Hardware Tool kit and will be taken back.
