Mechatronics, as the word suggests is an amalgamation of two words "mechanics" and "electronics". Also known as mechatronics engineering, it is a multidisciplinary branch of engineering with emphasis on mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering, telecommunications engineering, control engineering, systems engineering, robotics engineering.
