Vertical takeoff and landing RC plane does not require more area for taking off and landing. To make this vtol we need a flight controller which can act as a brain of the vtol.

Here at the end of the wing, two servo motors are fixed for rotating the bldc motors for transition purpose which means from multicopter to fixed-wing and fixed wing to multicopter. Here two BLDC motors are fixed with the servo motor at the end of the wing. These two motors act as a power plant for both fixed wing multicopter.

In multicopter mode it work as a bi copter and all directions can be actuated by changing the motors speed in the fixed wing mode.

Project Description:

1. AIRCRAFT: Fixed-wing aircraft with the multicopter frame
2. FLIGHT CONTROLLER: KK Multicopter board
3. ESC: Electronic Speed Controller used for controlling the speed of the BLDC motor
4. BLDC MOTOR: Here you can use BLDC motor for producing thrust which will help the drone to fly by overcoming the drag.
5. PROPELLER: Its a device which converts the rotational motion into the thrust. Propeller is made up of airfoil design which will cause the pressure difference due to which the propeller will move upward direction along with the drone.
6. BATTERY: You can use lipo battery as a power unit. Battery size will be changed according to the drone size.This type of battery gives you high energy with less weight.
7. TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER: 2.4GHZ TX and RX can be used. It should have minimum of 5 channels.

Project Implementation:

1. Fix all the parts in the frame properly. The flight controller should be fixed properly into the center part of the frame which helps you get more stability.
2. Download the latest version of the KK-Multicopter flash tool on your computer, and connect the flight controller to that software to upload the vtol firmware.
3. Make the connections properly and do the required calibration
4. Check the orientation before going for flying
5. Now go for the test flying
